Life's Too Short
Apr 29th 2021
What is it with people trying to convince you to “acquire a taste” for foods you don’t like?
For me, it’s anything cherry-flavored. I’m not sure if I had one too many doses of cough syrup as a kid, but any cherry-flavored candy or sweets just taste like medicine to me.
As long as I can remember, I’ve been happily giving away all my cherry-flavored candy to anyone who wants it. But occasionally, I run into someone that insists that I should try them again to see if I’ve changed my mind.
My response is always the same: Life’s just too short to waste it eating things you don’t like.
We put the exact same philosophy to work as we’ve carefully crafted each Epic recipe.
I’ve been asked so many times why I would choose the more difficult path. Our back room is stuffed full of little bags of sample batches that we tried and tested and reworked over and over again to get the taste just right.
We believe taking care of your teeth should be delicious.
It should be fun. If you’re not smiling just thinking about how scrumptious your next date with Epic Gum or Mints will be, then I haven’t done my job.
Nobody wants to chew on gum that tastes like their dentist’s fingers in their mouth. It’s one of the primary ways we’ve tried to stand out from the competition: making sure that every single bite is so delicious that you’re already reaching for the next piece.
It’s more than just beating the other guys, though. We’re in it to help as many people as we can reach, and we don’t believe you get there by cutting corners.
Taking care of your smile shouldn’t be a chore. It should be a delectable delight. And if we’re not putting in the hard work behind the scenes to make your oral health better and easier, then we might as well shut off the lights and send everybody home.
