Have you heard the story of that small hometown team that wins the championship against the 10x reigning champion against all odds? How about when Team USA beat the USSR in the 1980 Winter Olympics that led to a Gold Medal in Men's Hockey? Epic Xylitol Toothpaste is sort of like that; just an unassuming underdog that kicks major corporate conglomerates to the curb with our top-shelf Xylitol Mints.
We only use the bare essential ingredients in our toothpaste; no fillers, no chemicals, no artificial sweeteners. Other brands? Not the case. Epic toothpaste contains oodles of Xylitol; in fact, it’s the only thing that sweetens our toothpaste. Other brands? Not the case (ever heard of aspartame? Yikes).
One has fluoride, and the other doesn't. Both are stuffed with xylitol. Pick whichever one strikes your fancy.
No way! Non, Nie, Não, No, Nej, いいえ, Nein, 不是 (let us know if we missed your native language and we’ll add it in!). Epic Xylitol Toothpaste, along with all other Epic products, do not and will never contain aspartame, sugar, or other harmful ingredients. Other brands try to be sneaky and sugar coat (ha, get it?) their ingredients list by using words like fructose (ew), dextrose (gross), and sucrose (blah).
“Epic Xylitol Toothpaste is the best-tasting toothpaste in the entire world.” – Epic’s Marketing Director. Okay, that may be a little biased… But the 1,534+ other reviews (aggregating to an average of 4.9 stars across Amazon and our website) pretty much echo that same sentiment! “It tastes great and leaves your teeth feeling clean,” says Lee. “Favorite toothpaste without the dreaded lingering toothpaste taste,” says Rachael. “Great taste & great price!” says Jonny. See, the proof is in the pudding! Or should we say toothpaste..? Hmm…
“If It DoEsN’t fOaM iT’s NoT cLeAnIng”… *palm to forehead* This just simply isn’t true! We’ve been conditioned by big brands that foam = clean. And not just with toothpaste. Think of shampooing your hair, getting all sudsy with body wash or a bar of soap, and spraying “foaming” chemical cleaner on your stove. We think to ourselves, “if it doesn’t foam, it’s not working.” The truth is this: The foam does very, very little (and almost nothing when it comes to brushing your teeth). The even harsher reality? The chemical other brands use to make their toothpaste foam, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, can cause harmful side effects like mouth ulcers, canker sores, allergic reactions, the breakdown of tooth enamel, and dry mouth. Epic Xylitol Toothpaste does not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. It will not foam like other toothpaste brands, but we’ll bet our bottom dollar that you’ll get a refreshing, effective, and most importantly, safe brush every time!
Absolutely it is! Now, are you ready for some epic Gluten-Free dad jokes? What do you call a fake gluten-free noodle? An Impasta. You know, gluten-free people get a lot of hate, but we respect them for going against the grain! All jokes aside, I know a gluten-free restaurant that has an incredible top secret bakery; too bad it’s on a knead-to-dough basis! (Okay, we’re done.)
Does a bear poop in the woods? (where it belongs and not in captivity, roaming free and enjoying every beautiful aspect that nature has to offer our extraordinary planet). Epic Xylitol Gum is 100% Vegan! No animal products here. Where are our #WFPB people at?
Yes. Xylitol is toxic for dogs. You might be asking yourself, “well, why is it safe for me but toxic to my fur baby?” While our dogs are, in fact, our soulmates, and we often treat them better than our relatives (sorry, uncle Joe), there are key differences in how our respective bodies react to xylitol. In basic terms, it simply boils down to the fact that the biochemical response to xylitol between humans and dogs is very different. If Fido does consume a large amount of xylitol products, untreated, this can quickly be life-threatening. So make sure you keep any items that contain xylitol stored up where your doggos can’t reach them.
